One of the most helpful resources for understanding the Bible that I have ever found is The Bible Project. I was able to meet the founders, Tim and Jon, briefly at a conference and was happy to discover that they are as friendly and down-to-earth as they sound in their videos and podcasts. The Bible Project just celebrated their 10-year anniversary so to commemorate this milestone I thought I’d share a few of my favorite resources from their ever-growing library of videos, podcasts, articles, reading plans, and classes.
The mission statement of their company is, “We help people experience the Bible as a unified story that leads to Jesus.”
The first video that they ever produced is a helpful way to see what the Bible is all about. You can see that here.
This video was the main inspiration for my logo.

If you want to explore this idea more, you can listen to their Heaven and Earth podcast series.

If you want to take a free seminary-level online course on the same topic, they have that too 🙂

Once we begin to see the Bible is a unified story that leads to Jesus, we also discover that we are part of this unfolding story. Our lives, as I like to say, are subplots in this beautiful, grand narrative of heaven reuniting with earth.
